Merchants Security Service is a stable, family and employee oriented Dayton company founded in 1901. We serve businesses in the Dayton and Miami Valley area.

Candidates Job Description:

Must have a good driving record and a clean criminal background check.

Looking for someone with a flexible schedule. Position is part-time possibly turning into full time for the right person. Starting at 32 hours per week. Weekends are required.

Job Requirements: Customer Service, Security, Complete rounds via motor vehicle and on foot. Provide security for a large manufacturing facility. Lots of walking and people interaction is a big part of this position. Some computer and up to date technology such as smart phones and office equipment experience is necessary.

·        greeting guests

·        giving directions

·        monitoring cameras

·        passing individuals through metal detectors or security barriers

·        maintaining log sheets/reports of all activity

·        Patrolling the premises (inside and outside)

·        general security duties

·        customer service duties

You must meet the following requirements to apply : At least 18 years old, Have a valid driver’s license, Good driving record, Have your own transportation, Clean background check (no felony convictions) Have a high school diploma or GED, Flexible Schedule, Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, Security experience a plus!
